DNS Flow — Fast DNS Changer (“DNS Flow”, “we”, “our”, or “the App”) is provided by Future Insight Vision Technology Limited and developed under NextVision Studio.

This Privacy Policy explains how DNS Flow handles information when you use the App.

DNS Flow does not require an account and does not operate its own backend server for collecting or storing your personal information.

2. Information We Process

2.1 DNS Queries and DNS Logs

When DNS routing is active, DNS Flow processes DNS queries generated by your device or by applications that you have configured to use DNS routing.

The App may locally record DNS log information, including:

DNS Logs do not include the name of the application that generated the query or an IP address recorded by DNS Flow.

DNS Logs show domain names rather than complete webpage URLs, webpage paths, query parameters, or webpage content.

DNS Logs are stored locally on your device. Logs from the previous DNS connection remain locally stored until a new DNS connection starts, at which point they are cleared.

DNS Logs are not uploaded to servers operated by us.

2.2 App-Specific DNS Routing

If you use app-specific DNS routing, DNS Flow processes your routing selections locally to determine which compatible applications use DNS routing and which applications bypass it.

This information is not transmitted to us.

2.3 App Settings

DNS Flow stores certain settings locally on your device, such as your selected DNS server, routing preferences, IPv6 settings, and background operation preferences.

These settings are used to provide and maintain the App's functionality.

3. Third-Party DNS Providers

DNS Flow allows you to select DNS services provided by third parties.

When DNS routing is active, DNS queries may be sent to the DNS provider you have selected. The selected provider may process, retain, filter, or otherwise handle DNS queries according to its own privacy policy and terms.

DNS Flow does not control the data practices of third-party DNS providers.

You should review the privacy policy of your selected DNS provider for information about how it handles DNS queries.

4. How We Use Information

We use locally processed information to:

5. Data Storage and Retention

DNS Flow is designed to process and store relevant information locally on your device.

DNS Logs are retained locally until a new DNS connection starts, when the previous logs are cleared.

App settings and other locally stored App data remain on your device until they are changed, cleared, or removed.

When you uninstall DNS Flow, locally stored App data is generally removed together with the App by the Android system.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share DNS Logs with third parties.

However, DNS queries may be transmitted to the third-party DNS provider selected by you because this is necessary to provide DNS resolution.

The selected DNS provider's handling of those queries is governed by that provider's own policies.

7. Notifications and Background Operation

If notification permission is enabled, DNS Flow may display notifications related to its active DNS routing service.

If you enable background operation, DNS Flow may continue running in the background to maintain DNS routing functionality.

8. Data Security

DNS Flow uses Android system networking capabilities to provide DNS routing functionality.

When an encrypted DNS service such as DNS-over-HTTPS is selected, DNS queries are transmitted to the selected DNS service using the encryption provided by that service.

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children's Privacy

DNS Flow is not directed specifically to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or registration because the App does not require user accounts.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, or our data practices.

When changes are made, the updated policy will be made available through the App and/or the Google Play listing.

The Effective Date shown at the beginning of this policy indicates when the current version became effective.
